And why shouldn’t they? There is absolutely no penalty for doing so - neither for the Liberals, nor for the floor crossers. Protests are low-scale and quickly die out. When Liberals are pissed, they network, coordinate, and get out in big numbers and protest the hell out of it. When conservatives get pissed, they tweet about it; a handful might hang around an MPs office for a few hours and then call it quits. I saw footage about the Gladu floor crossing that showed one person at her constituency office. That’s all I’ve seen. Conservatism may not be dying in Canada, but it is certainly receding. We’re now into year 11 of Liberal rule, and there’s no end in sight. At this rate, the Liberals might dominate well into the 2030s before conservatives get their act together.

🚨 BREAKING: Liberal MPs are actively recruiting opposition Members of Parliament. It is no longer intermediaries. When Mark Carney was asked by Rosemary Barton, if he was actively recruiting MPs, Mark Carney dodged the question. He said "people are interested in what we're doing". These actions, and treating voters wishes, like trading cards that can be traded, bought or sold without voter consent, undermines our democracy. It's shameful and a stain on our country's history. Forming a majority government through floor crossings is unprecedented and has never been done in history. This will be Mark Carney's legacy: unprincipled, power hungry and a blatant disregard for Canadian voter's wishes.

The people in her riding had better get a spine & start showing up at her constituency office to 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 protest the hell out of this. And if they do, I would be happy to drive the distance to join and support them. Otherwise, next time an MP does this, we might as well just sit back & suck it up because limiting our actions to just b*tching about it on X provides little to no deterrent for the next one to pull this stunt.

Marilyn Gladu a month and a half ago complaining how the Liberals have made food inflation the highest in the G7, now she joins them? All these floor crossers are doing is exposing what frauds politicians are.
