Jesienny pobór do wojska w 2025 roku pobił dziewięcioletni rekord pod względem liczby poborowych w Rosji. Od 1 października do armii rosyjskiej wcielono 135 000 mężczyzn w wieku od 18 do 30 lat. Wiosenny pobór w 2025 roku z kolei był największy od 14 lat - do wojska powołano prawie 219 000 mężczyzn. Wiek poboru w Rosji został podniesiony na początku 2024 roku. Od tego czasu powoływani są mężczyźni w wieku od 18 do 30 lat; wcześniej maksymalny wiek poboru wynosił 27 lat.
