US strategic documents state the Middle East is a lower-tier priority. This tracks US population opinion, yes, but is more reflective of elite policy making opinion. The people and the experts are actually in agreement. Fighting a ground war, or any war, in Iran is not worth it.

The main takeaway from the Iran war is that American domestic politics is the greatest impediment to US military success. Our military put on a clinic but American constituencies have done everything possible to prevent a win. China is smiling watching America’s pundit imbeciles.

Kings haven’t suddenly become a complete team, just leaning into what’s working.
Offense driving results, Kempe difference maker, just enough goaltending from Forsberg.
Not clean, not old identity but right now, effective. At this point, that’s all that matters.

@DennisTFP @ByfieldForHart Not sure Byfield best fit is on the top line. He is nicely deployed as a match-up shut down roll. And he is a face-off liability. I believe he can step up, but Kings will miss a shutdown 2C freeing up good matchups for first line with Panarin.
