@Justom29 We need to start building a young athletic squad that is for the future. Chalobah can’t prove fitness and I highly doubt lowe would want to stay. Bernard would be the best in the division but svante wouldn’t remotely be.

It’s easy to criticise right now, the subs, the tactics, the formation and I completely get the frustration. It’s not a great time to be an Owl on the pitch, and we haven’t exactly seen fireworks from Pedersen so far… But honestly? I think he deserves next season. At the end of the day, no matter how long any of us have watched football, unless you’ve been inside that dressing room, on the training ground, and working at that level, you can’t definitively say whether he’s capable or not. None of us are qualified no matter what argument you try and give. He’s been working under some of the worst conditions imaginable. Poor infrastructure, Uncertainty behind the scenes, A squad that, on paper, isn’t even mid-table League One quality in my opinion. And yet they fight. That’s the key thing for me. This team plays for him. They graft every game. It’s the only reason we haven’t been completely torn apart week in, week out. We’ve lost games, yes but not without showing something. Not without looking competitive. In what is arguably one of the darkest periods in the club’s history, he’s kept a level of belief in that dressing room. That matters more than people think. For me, he deserves until at least Christmas, give him a more stable environment, a proper recruitment window, even slight improvements off the pitch Let’s be realistic here… are we expecting promotion next season? No. We need 2–3 years in League One to properly rebuild not just the squad, but the entire club. And you don’t do that while scrambling to survive in the Championship. Sometimes stability is the rebuild, and Pedersen has the backing of the players, and clearly can get players wanting to play, with the unfortunate exceptional of Ugbo, which in truth I just think he's in a poor headspace. #SWFC

Would league 2 be such a terrible thing Peter? -15 points is a lot to overcome.. especially when there's a likelihood we can't spend anything either.. so until we know the parameters of the situation and how best seasons going to look, who are we to say he is or isn't the right man? But I suppose.. there's that many football managers waiting in the wings with their professional opinions that we never know, eh?

@AlexJPMiller Huge risk. Has failed to win games at other clubs not just here. Too much made of 'circumstances'. Wednesdays starting x1 this season when fit should be relegated yes, but should have won more than 1 game. Most Owls fans see that but understand it doesnt really matter.

Any negative reaction to this inevitable given results regardless of circumstances. This shouldn't come as a shock to anyone - all indications have meant it's been more or less known albeit without a headline for a while. Already written a great deal on where my humble opinion stands and worthier opinions of those within the game - at SWFC and further afield. Beyond all that, HP staying on would be an obvious choice given the scale of what needs to be undertaken this summer - time already well against Owls and to throw in the recruitment of a new management team / complete new direction on top would be an act of self-harm. Start to next season obviously important for HP and club. Has absolute respect of those at the club as a person and a leader. As made clear throughout and with all this stuff, at this stage these are only intentions. Arise not in the door and so nothing formal possible. Still a road to be travelled on takeover. #SWFC🦉
