@andreban @kennethrohde Although from the user's point of view, they have Browser A as their default, Browser B installed and then they've got your web app open saying "Please use Browser B instead" - it seems silly they they'd have to change their default to use your app.

@andreban @kennethrohde As Andre says, it would be possible (we don't have it now, but it shouldn't be hard to add) to have a whitelist, but I'm not a massive fan of the idea - primarily because a browser could add support in the future and I doubt people would update their TWA shell's whitelist.

This is great news! A PWA opened from a Trusted Web Activity should be handled by the user's favourite browser, no matter what their favourite browser is! With this update, if the user's browser of choice is Firefox, it will be used as the Trusted Web Activity provider!

Wondering how to avoid showing the URL bar in a TWA when the user navigates off the initial origin. If the developer owns both origins, it is possible. Read how to do it here: developers.google.com/web/updates/20…

@PeterEConn Found another important nuance: Google Play Internal App Sharing (support.google.com/googleplay/and…) also re-sign APKs. And the internal key is different to production and upload key. So assetlinks.json must be updated. Could you please update the guide? It'll save a lot of debug time.

Confused about Digital Asset Links? No worries! I've written a Trusted Web Activity Quick Start Guide that takes you through creating a basic TWA, explaining all the common gotchas. developers.google.com/web/updates/20…

@ErikHellman Hey, Does a Kotlin/JS project have to be 100% Kotlin? Can it have any Java in it? Peter

@magbicaleman Publishing a TWA to the Play Store should be the same as publishing any other app to the Play Store, were there any specific parts you had in mind? Also, could you expand on the "different API environments"?

@PeterEConn Thank you very much for this guide, very helpful. For developers that have never published to the Play store, is there a guide on how to publish TWAs? Also how to deal with using different API environments.

@PeterEConn Great guide! 👍 Could you please also add a note about Google Play App Signing? In this case, Google Play re-sign APK and assetlinks.json should be updated.

Good News TWA fans (especially @beverloo) - the TWA status bar colour can now be controlled by the website. Let your imagination run wild!

@PeterEConn Hi Peter! Sorry to hear this. Have you attempted to log out and then back in to see if this refreshes it? Hope you are having better weather over there too! Karen

@AskNationwide Hey, I'm on holiday without my nationwide calculator, have been transferring money from my account into my day spending card happily until today. Now it's asking me to use the calculator to confirm. Anything I can do?
