Reminder that Democrats subsidize rural regions (bad) via hospitals, broadband internet access, infrastructure, etc. Rural people turn around and consistently vote Republican.
If Democrats stopped frivolously spending, there’d be increased economic pressure to concentrate in urban areas, thus helping democrats’ political prospects. Maybe one of the worst political strategies from Dems, more on this in a substack soon!

i cannot understand the struggle of being Black in America, especially not being Black in the South, but at the same time, it’s very hard for me to understand how anyone — white, Black, Hispanic, or any other race/ethnicity — can take this attitude towards the current Republican Party.
regardless of what you think of Talarico or Stevens or Name The Democrat You’re Disappointed In Today, they are infinitely better than a Republican and i don’t know why that’s not a relevant point in these conversations.
