In seiner Wahrnehmung kämpft die #Ukraine nicht nur für sich selbst, sondern stellvertretend für die Freiheit ganz Westeuropas gegen Russland. Deshalb hat sich seine Rhetorik deutlich verändert: Statt demütig um Hilfe zu bitten, belehrt er den Westen inzwischen regelrecht – und fordert unverfroren den sofortigen EU-Beitritt der Ukraine innerhalb der nächsten 12 Monate.

Gelukkig is er Putin anders waren verschillende Europeesche landen die nu de oorlog voeren met Rusland: Duitsland, Frankrijk, het VK, USA, Letland het klosje geweest. Ik geloof niet dat in Europa de Oreshnik veel besprokem wordt maar wie die wel kent weet dat het niet echt handig is om,.zonder troepen te hebben en artillerie, oorlogje spelen met Rusland niet handig is. De "harde" partijen in Rusland zijn het al langer niet eens met Putin's kalmte. En het lijkt erop dat de Russische stemmer er ook genoeg van heeft, maar dat gaan we nog zien. Het is verbazingwekkend dat men vergeten is wat de doelstelling is van deze militaire operatie van Rusland, wat meteen verklaard waarom ze niet Kiev platleggen en maar langzaam de Donbas winnen. Zonder te weten wat de belangrijkste doelstelling is, wordt het onmogelijk de militaire bewegingen van Rusland te begrijpen. Maar ze zijn aan het winnen. Wellicht was Putin weer aan het vragen om geduld van zijn generaals (die het regime in Kiev omver willen helpen, nu, niet morgen). Geen idee. Ook al zou Zelensky en zijn clan worden verwijderd, dan nog moet Ukraine een deal maken met Rusland zodat de veiligheids situatie gecreëerd wordt voor Europa. En dat is waar het probleem ligt, denk ik. De EU elite is werkelijk te ver verwijderd van de realiteit en of macht wellustig. De Duitse regering idem dito. Nederland, Frankrijk, UK, Finland, Zweden, Denemarken, Noorwegen, de Baltische staten: allemaal oorlogszuchtige die er absoluut van overtuigd zijn of willen zijn dat Rusland de Soviet wil zijn. Vergetende dat de Soviet is opgeheven door...? De president van de Soviet Union. Niet door het westen. Het Russische leiderschap heeft Europa opgegeven. Geen enkele interesse meer in. Wordt beschouwd als een verloren continent, wat leiderschap betreft. Dus nee, Rusland wil niet de Soviet Unie landen terug. Rusland heeft een sterke economie, beter dan Europa (niet zo moeilijk) en door alle sancties zich volledig onafhankelijk gemaakt. Daarom ook de laatste gas en olie verkopen gestaakt naar Europa toe (vrijwillig inderdaad) omdat ze betere kopers hebben. Gefeliciteerd Europa. Geïsoleerd en gehoond.

In my opinion, yesterday a turning point in the war took place. Perhaps we still do not fully grasp the significance of what happened. For the first time, Putin publicly showed his weakness and inability to independently protect his capital, his parade, and himself from our strikes. Because of this, a frightened Putin was forced to publicly humiliate himself and ask Trump, as a mediator, to help stop a strike on Moscow. De facto, Putin asked Trump to protect him from the Ukrainians. I consider President Zelenskyy’s order a brilliant informational slap in the face and an additional public humiliation. It is obvious that before and during the parade, Putin was physically afraid - he felt vulnerable and threatened. Putin publicly appeared weak and humiliated, and in Russia’s "prison-style" political culture, such things are not forgiven. A weak "tsar," mocked by everyone, cannot remain a tsar in Russia. These are very, very hard times for Ukraine. However, Ukraine is strong, resilient, and continues the fight. Slava Ukraini!

@victoriaslog Ehm..Putin did not beg. He warned the USA and Ukraine that ambassades etc were going to be hit in the centre of Kiev if the Ukrainians bombed the ceremonies in Moscow. I would start negotiating now. If not, the patience soon will be over and the results even worst.

Yesterday, Ukrainian forces were at launch positions, fully prepared to strike the Kremlin and Red Square. They were ordered to stand down at the very last moment after Putin begged Trump for a ceasefire to avoid falling into the mud. He got a ceasefire. We agreed to no strategic strikes against Russia FOR 3 DAYS!!! And what did Russians do? They hit a high-rise building in Kharkiv on that very “parade” day. A little child is among the victims. It’s always a bad idea to pity Russians and agree to their conditions. They will always act in the most disgusting and dirty way.
