Delighted to finally catch up with this blue-ringed Rock Pipit, (this indiv has eluded me all winter) 1 of 2 Rock Pipits at Ness Point, North Beach, Lowestoft, Suffolk today + 2 Purple Sandpipers, thanks to Brian & his wife for pointing this out and the male Eider flying south

Seeing Brain Smalls excellent painting of the three Suffolk shrikes, it has inspired me to produce a photographic collage of them using my own photos Brown Shrike, Isabelline Shrike and the star of them the Turkestan shrike

Absolutely delighted to see the Eastern Black Redstart along Sheringham Promenade, North Norfolk this morning. Initially v.elusive, it took 75 minutes before I finally saw it but it did show exceptionally well for 10 minutes. A bird I have been wanting to see for sometime.
