@jasonkstearns ... but I agree also with @JasonStearns’ point that M23 is only ever in a position to cause serious trouble when Rwanda supports it; and Rwanda only does this when the West allows it to. After more than 30 years of conflict, the poor people of eastern DRC deseve better.

@jasonkstearns I agree with the comment that the origins of this conflict go back to well before the emergence of M23 – in fact to before the Rwandan genocide and its fallout in eastern Congo. But ... (see next reply)
