@jmspool Sounds like my worst nightmare!

2hr31m after scheduled departure time. Somehow, while attempting to taxi back to the gate, we’ve managed to find ourselves far away from the terminal. No explanation about why we haven’t gone back to refuel, as promised 30 mins ago. The cabin is still sweltering.

And once again @AmericanAir has cancelled my flight, because keeping their planes flying is not something they’re particularly good at.
