BREAKING #Mugabe [WATCH] The lawyers for Bellarmine Mugabe and his co-accused Tobias Matonhdze say the state has informed them that their clients are illegal in the country. Also, in court, it was revealed that the parties would go into 'plea negotiation'. This means that Mugabe and his co-accused MIGHT plead guilty to one of more of the charges that they are facing. Those charges are attempted murder, defeating ends of justice, possession of a firearm, and contravening the Immigration Act. #sabcnews
SAD NEWS💔: National Constitutional Assembly (NCA) leader Professor Lovemore Madhuku, badly beaten by members of the Zimbabwe Republic Police at his offices in along Herbert Chitepo Avenue this morning. Madhuku and several party members are currently receiving the at a local clinic in Harare. NCA spokesperson Madock Chivasa confirmed the incident. “We were holding a meeting this morning when police rounded up and attacked our members, including our leader Professor Madhuku. He has been injured,” Chivasa told Newsday.
Many people have tagged me to ask why I haven't commented on the case of Chatunga Mugabe. Firstly, I can't comment on an issue where I don't have all the facts. The facts around this are unclear as yet; they're based on hearsay. Secondly, I don't wash family laundry in public. Chatunga is a politically exposed Zimbabwean who is associated with Brand Zimbabwe, so I can't speak on an issue that implicates him without all the facts. Furthermore, I won't kick the young man when he's down. Once the case has gone through the courts and facts are clear, I'll comment. Lastly, I urge Zimbabweans to refrain from committing crimes in other countries or at home, for that matter. Any association between Zimbabweans and crime tarnishes Brand Zimbabwe and our image.
