The UK does not need saving by Reform or Restore. The country needs governments that care about most people not just billionaires. They have made up an existential threat based on racism and fear which doesn’t exist. We need better health care and schools not hate and division.

7 wins in 9 games, there’s absolutely no reason for Manchester United fans not to be happy with that. We all know the squad still needs work and there are plenty of improvements required, but let’s keep some perspective. For the last couple of years we were winning about 1 game a month. Complaining now feels performative or fake to me.

@_shaunirvine Yeah exactly mate and West Ham have been playing pretty well and picking up points recently. Wouldn't surprise me at all if West Ham get something. Really awkward and potential banana skin for City. These are the types of game where leagues are won and lost.

Utd’s job today was to beat Palace, not to play a certain way that will beat Newcastle on Wednesday. Utd were a team who had just been knocked out of the FA Cup, who couldn’t keep a clean sheet and were playing 5 at the back at home against a 10 man Everton in a 1-0 defeat. I don’t think this Utd team are good enough yet to consistently put in the kind of performances where they control the game for 90 minutes which makes the recent run of results even more remarkable. Carrick is squeezing every drop out of players who have never been consistent
