competency-based knowledge!! YES. Education (and verification) that is less about seat time more about knowledge. #Nursing #nursingeducation #ANursesVoice

@ProfWest2016 Like: why do we have to SLOG through CE, when we could get them for stuff we are already doing??? This type of learning is backed by research - how many of you listen to noteworthy podcasts??? This is base level— but nursing education is an SOS! #ANursesVoice

Have conversations that will promote credibility. Staff shortages, burn out, and compassion fatigue existed prior to a global pandemic. Crisis opened the hospital doors to the publicity of these. Pandemic crisis did not event them. #ANursesVoice (photo is a prehistoric image)

@PeterPreziosi I like to pick up new skills! Web coding/design, I became a notary, I am trying to study to be a HAM radio operator and a Private Investigator. I owned a training company. I love to learn and teach. I want to never stop learning and growing.

@DNPStudent @realRhondaManns Couldn't agree more, nursing education must include the business of healthcare, health care finance, business models. how can nurses be real effective leaders if they don't fully understand the economics of healthcare. #ANursesVoice

Nurses face daily health system challenges, aging and chronic care needs, complex social situations, changing healthcare tech tools, care delivery complexity, fiscal constraints. Invest in lifelong learning structures to upskill nurses to alleviate this pressure gap.#ANursesVoice

Many nurses leave the nursing profession due to the poor working conditions to which they are subjected when delivering care. It is necessary to act to create the right working conditions to allow nurses to work safely without anxiety and continuous stress! #ANursesVoice

#ANursesVoice1.Safety workplaces and protection for all nurses who are the most representative in the health sector! We need EU legislation to protect nurses. EFN will push the European Commission to develop EU legislation, which will impact on 3 million EU nurses. #ANursesVoice
