Monacon GP oli varmasti aika rankka kokemus fyysisesti tuohon aikaan, kun vaihteiden vaihto tapahtui vaihdekepistä. Yli 70 kierrosta tuota rytkytystä ja paljon ajoa vain yksi käsi ohjauspyörällä.
