So my mom is shopping in a supermarket, wearing a full hijab and jilbab (commonly misnamed as a burka) and the whole time she is there, this kid is staring at her. Won't stop staring. Just looking with wide-eyed shock.
The lil feller isn't any older than four. She doesn't think much of it, she is used to far worse than just a few stares. Until the very end when the kid and his mom are behind her in the checkout, and he leans up and whispers loudly: "I LOVE YOU BATMAN"

This is the NBA's biggest problem, far bigger than tanking. Nobody wants to watch guys try to trick the refs and shoot free throws for 48 minutes.
I'm not sure how the league can fix it. At some point the players just need to have some damn shame and play ball.

@jonfavs Losing the 2024 Dem. Iowa/NH primary kept all the snobbish consultants from going places where the only restaurant is a gas station we call a general store. They avoided facing the fact that truck drivers are more versed in politics than they are in their little DC bubble.

My mother once "threatened" to make my brother (6) and I (4) sleep outside of we didn't get our room cleaned up. So we decided that we should probably spend the rest of the day preparing to sleep outside because that would be WAY easier than cleaning our room. Our bright idea was to dig holes for us to sleep in so we could cover ourselves in leaves and sticks to act as blankets. So instead of my mom finding her sons cleaning their room, she found them digging their own graves in the back yard.
