We are delighted to announce that the Bernard Sunley Foundation awarded us a grant of £30,000 towards the new building at Pettypool. We’re very grateful for their generous donation. Progress is good, windows & doors are installed, we hope the building will be ready by September.

Work is getting going on the new building on Willow site, to replace the Ranger Den. We need a new name for it! If you have any suggestions please comment below👇🏽 It will provide a small meeting room, bathroom, facilities for disabled visitors, a kitchen - and a deck, of course!

… from the Children in Need / DCMS Capital Grant Fund towards the construction costs of the Ranger Den. We have also been successful in obtaining a grant from the Arnold Clarke Community Fund for £1000 which will help to kit out the new building.

We are excited to announce that the builders have started the construction of our new Ranger Den. Work should take about 14 weeks. Please take care if you visit the site, there is a lot of construction activity going on. We have been very lucky to receive £50,000 of funding…

Last weekend, Christleton Guides proved that camps are not only a summer activity! They had a fabulous time and it looks like smiles all round! 🏕 🔥 ❄️

We are delighted that The Lookout has won another award! 🥳🥂 It is the ‘Community New Build’ at the CWAC Civic Awards for Design & Conservation. The ceremony took place this evening at Chester Racecourse. Thanks again to our architects Walker Simpson & our builders City Build.

Our volunteer shop has now reopened, following the government announcement about the opening of non-essential shops. The times are as before lockdown: Tuesday and Thursday 6.30-7.45 pm & Saturday 10-12noon. ** Please note only 1 customer is allowed in the shop at a time.**
