The problem I have with rape accusations is how women define rape now. “He pressured me so I gave in but didn’t want to” I’m sorry but that’s not rape to me.

Every young person should have a basic understanding of the Bible, regardless of religious beliefs. In America especially, the Bible shaped our founding ideals: liberty, justice, human dignity, and moral responsibility. If we want to preserve what made the West and our nation strong and free, we must teach the young generations where those values came from.

@SirEvanAmato I totally agree! It's important to not get too lost in the extreme online beliefs because these usually aren't representative of what most people think.

Meaningfully engaging with people in the real world prevents you from holding 90% of online left-wing beliefs, and this is absolutely a good thing

@DeanAbbott Very true. As a teen myself, I've noticed that most young people's mental health struggles stem from what's going on at home and with the family.

Over and over, I have seen kids dragged through the mental health system when their behaviors and problems are obvious attempts to deal with dysfunctional home situations. I know everyone wants to support the kid, and maybe that's worth it, but the real problem never gets dealt with.

@PeytonMackenze "As a teen girl"..there's a problem straight away. You falsely identify as a group. And then identify 'red pill men' and 'men' and 'women' as groups. Just be yourself, think for yourself- don't attack groups. Attack ideas, individuals even, if you think its right.

As a teen girl, the problem I see with red pill men is that they spend all their time calling out women for not being virtuous and truly feminine (a valid criticism) but then completely ignore moral shortcomings of men. If men want better women, they need to be better too.

@conservmillen Thank you for saying this! It can be super frustrating to see all of this discourse as a teenage girl, but then I remember that arguments on X don't have to control our real lives and that I can always find comfort in God's truth.

I can’t focus too much on the dumb as hail battle of the sexes happening on X without being significantly bummed out. I have to remember that while the woman-hating, oatmeal-brained manosphere does have spillover into real life, its reach is extremely limited. Go live your life! Love the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. Enjoy your spouse if you’re married. Find a Godly hottie if you’re not. Touch grass. Eat pizza. Listen to Dixieland Delight in your car with the windows down. Log off this hellsite for a while and do not let the dodo-brained crabs pull you back to the bottom of the bucket. Happy Friday

@Liz_Wheeler I'm not sure how true conservatives could agree with red pill men. They just call out women's moral shortcomings but don't apply the same standards to men.

“Red pill” manosphere: “Women are whores. Don’t marry them. There are no trad women left.” Also red pill manosphere: “I got you pregnant? Abort my child!” Red pillers: “Don’t blame HIM that the irresponsible whore got herself pregnant.” See? This was never about men’s rights.

@PinnacleJoe @coffeesylvia_ Since I've been on X I constantly see Catholics criticizing Protestant beliefs and don't really see the other way around. It might just be the accounts I follow, but as a Protestant it's interesting to see the different perspectives and learn more about my faith.

@coffeesylvia_ It’s usually Protestants causing problems and Catholics stepping up to correct them. I rarely see a Catholic pick a fight out of nowhere. Anyways, debate is a good way to cause Prots to convert. Many of them have never been challenged and if we ignore them they will never be.

@LilaGraceRose Very well said! I think preparation for marriage is so important too. Many women assume they can just wait for their husband to come along and that they don't have to work on opening themselves up for a relationship and being a good partner.

Not everyone is meant to get married in their 20s. The key question to ask if what is God calling me to? If you believe you are called to get married, then be open to marriage and prioritize relationships and preparation for marriage in your 20s. You may end up getting married and you might not, and that’s ok. God’s timing is perfect and our job is to do the best we can with the days we are given.

@annamlulis This is absolutely true! It's challenging as a young woman to see how much society lies to us and encourages us to do things that hurt us.

Friendly reminder that women have been lied to about their health for years. We’re thrown onto drugs like birth control as teens, told it’s empowering to be sexually promiscuous, and taught that we’re not “equal” in society unless we can kill our kids. Women deserve better.
