🚦New traffic signal now live at Allegheny Ave & Western Ave! The intersection now features upgraded LED signals, pedestrian countdown timers, audible pushbuttons, improved lighting, and updated signage. Final cleanup will take place over the next two weeks.

🚧 Road Closure Alert🚧 Eastbound Penn Ave. between Evaline St. and Graham St. is closed as Phase II of the Penn Avenue Reconstruction Project begins — work will continue for 2 years. @PghDOMI will upgrade sidewalks, ADA ramps, traffic signals, and lighting to promote safety.

Mayor O'Connor and Safe Routes to School Coordinator Harriet Jackson joined Crossing Guard Bobbi Valentine at her intersection at Biscayne Drive and Brownsville Road for Crossing Guard Appreciation Day.

The new traffic signals at the intersection of the Blvd. of the Allies & Ward St. were activated this AM! Traffic signal upgrades enhance intersection safety, with our own research showing that improvements can reduce crashes at intersections by up to 33%. @PghDOMI
