@LizWFab This was one of my reasons for leaving. I simply could not afford to pay my bills, especially my student loan bills. And there was no way I could ever save or invest for retirement. I also knew how much my lifetime earning potential was from assistant to full and it was bleak.

We are devastated… 🥹 We just lost our Butters! 💔🐈.. She arrived at our home 18years ago! I have never met a more chill animal, she was always peaceful and loving, when kids were sick, she would always bring comfort. She had such a calm demeanor, we called her Buddha, she fell asleep this afternoon and peacefully made her journey! RIP Butters! (2006-Feb 16th 2024) 🙏🏽😔

@markeology @M_elyselebron I have a heated bird bath for the winter. It is a delight to watch the birds use it in the snow. Highly recommend!

@M_elyselebron An outdoor fountain would freeze over where I live this time of year but I'm thinking a little desktop waterfall for my room might be really nice.

Chronically ill friends: My therapist wants me to interact with nature more, but I'm not exactly up for a stroll in the woods most days, y'know? What are some low-impact things you do that connect you to nature? Houseplants? A bucket of dirt next to your bed to stick your feet in?

I have good news as well. The Mamma Gaia Pieta was accepted (2000 entries!) and will be published in Fiber Arts Now, A really respected art journal. 😁
