No matter what form it takes, goodbyes still hurts. It’s funny the coincidence that we started this page because of the first Dior show of the year and we are closing it after the last. It’s been an honour #GreenyRose
Running socials has been our pride our joy and we have taken absolute pleasure in watching it grow to what it is today. We do not take your trust and support for granted, and we are very grateful.
However, at this juncture, we would like to say goodbye. We know the weight that word carries and it’s not a decision we made lightly. A part of us would like to hold on but we know it’s for the best all things considered. So while we still love the hardest, and with heads held high, we would like to step back from our duties. We hope that someday, in the distant future, we would come back to doing the thing we love.
Our sincere thank you also goes to our volunteers who have supported us along the way. We’ve always had the small group of yous that have been our constant backing and reassurance. Not just for the engagement, for all our activities and events, you have always been there even at the just concluded event in Paris. More than us, some of you always went to bat and lost as much sleep as we did in a bid to execute our crazy ideas.
Not to forget our lovely and the best translators; your duties always exceeded that of translating and we are beyond grateful.
Until our paths cross again, please love Mile a lot. Somewhere among the crowd will always be us with well wishes for Mile and #GreenyRose
P.s. McLaren event will be the last event we would be taking part in as Socials and like always, we’ll give our best for him then too 💚
