@DigitalVegetat1 @MyBluntLit @HaloSupport Thats how I felt in MCC, I would play the game to have fun in the casual modes. Then when the game is over, I got a further reward for my performance which feels good. In Infinite, I can play however and have fun but at the end of the match I feel like I "played wrong" with 0 XP.

#HaloInfinite players can now earn XP by completing matchmade games. The "Play 1 Game" Daily Challenge is worth 50 XP each. The Challenge deck is also being updated to better serve players of all skill levels. (1/4)

@HaloSupport This isn't good enough. I've already lost interest in leveling the battle pass because it takes too long.

@Unyshek I found myself playing objectives only to remember it doesn't matter and the only thing I have to focus on is some randomized task. It doesn't feel good. I'm an objective player in past titles and some of my best memories are rushing the flag with friends.

@Unyshek Everyone wants performance based matchmaking and we know its less profitable. But thats the difference between a decent game and a game that lasts 10+ years like Infinite is supposed to.

To address the feedback on Battle Pass progression we will be making targeted tunings to our model later this week. To start, we'll be adding "Play 1 Game" challenges to help make sure you consistently progress through the Battle Pass by playing matches the way you want.

@lenguy4 @SCARTOV @omnijoel_ @Knightt888 @Unyshek The point is XP and medals are already tracked in each match. Thats a huge starting point. Also its not like asking for a hard to define metric like "how well did the player play the objective"
