@arcadialol @FlawedLoL It wasn't always like this but the main reason it wasn't is for people were worse at the game back then. During season 4 literally all you needed to do was get 80 CS by ten minutes and that alone was good enough to get you to diamond.

As for "what about champions who like AP and AD" like volibear. You can simply play god and decide which characters get to have access to both. Hell we can do it on in polls.

really simple solution to half the games problem would be to Class lock all items, and do a TRUE item rework to the game. For carries they can get like 4 defense items only for them and then like 10 damage focused items. Then for tanks you can do the same ratios but reversed

P.s I don't believe mages and tanks are brainless, I believe a lot of craft is needed to learn how to properly monitor waves. A big thing that makes a good tank player is knowing when to engage and when to peel agro but see how easy it is to reverse the script?

I find it funny that the same people who call "roaming" "brainless" are the same people who play mages and tanks and just afk farm for 40 minutes until they hit six items doing literally nothing else to then coin flip the game on a grand total of two team fights
