🚨 IRAN ON EDGE AS PROTESTS SPREAD Large protests have erupted across parts of Iran, with growing reports of demonstrations in Tehran and several western regions as anger toward the regime continues to build. In previous waves of unrest, millions of Iranians have taken to the streets across dozens of cities, making them some of the largest anti-government demonstrations since the 1979 revolution. At the same time, security forces including the IRGC and Basij militias remain deployed across major cities, attempting to maintain control. Despite the unrest, intelligence assessments still indicate the regime’s core power structures remain intact for now. But if protests continue to expand — particularly in major cities like Tehran — the pressure on the regime could intensify rapidly.

@ItsTheEnforcer x.com/PahlaviReza/st… <-- It was always the plan.
Reza Pahlavi@PahlaviReza

My dear compatriots, Decisive moments lie before us. The assistance that the President of the United States had promised to the brave people of Iran has now arrived. This is a humanitarian intervention, and its target is the Islamic Republic, its apparatus of repression, and its machinery of killing—not the country and great nation of Iran. However, despite the arrival of this assistance, the final victory will still be achieved by us. It is we, the people of Iran, who will finish this task in this final battle. The time to return to the streets is approaching. Now that the Islamic Republic is collapsing, my message to the country’s military, law enforcement, and security forces is clear: You have sworn an oath to protect Iran and the Iranian nation, not the Islamic Republic and its leaders. Your duty is to defend the people, not to defend a regime that has taken our homeland hostage through repression and crime. Join the nation and help ensure a stable and secure transition. Otherwise, you will sink with Khamenei’s ship and his crumbling regime. And my message to the President of the United States, President Trump, is this: The honorable people of Iran, despite the brutal repression and killings carried out by this regime, stood bravely for nearly two months. I now ask you to exercise the utmost possible caution to preserve the lives of civilians and my compatriots. The people of Iran are your natural allies and the allies of the free world, and they will not forget your assistance during the most difficult period of Iran’s contemporary history. And to you, my dear compatriots in Iran: In these sensitive hours and days, more than ever we must remain focused on our ultimate goal: reclaiming Iran. I ask you, for now, to remain in your homes and remain calm and safe. Stay alert and ready to return to the streets for the final action at the appropriate time, which I will communicate to you. Follow my messages through social media and satellite media. If disruptions occur in the internet and satellite broadcasts, I will remain in contact with you via radio. We are very close to final victory. I hope to be with you as soon as possible so that together we may reclaim Iran and rebuild it. Long live Iran. Reza Pahlavi

🚨BREAKING: Israel issues a statement to the Iranian people to rise up and reclaim their freedoms from the Ayatollah’s regime. This means that reports are likely true that Iran protests are generally not happening in large numbers (as expected).
Prime Minister of Israel@IsraeliPM

People of Iran, We are waging a historic war for liberty. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for you to remove the Ayatollah regime and gain your freedom. Together with the United States, we are hitting the Tyrants of Teheran harder than ever.

Crude oil has experienced massive swings in price over the last few days almost solely based on information warfare between the U.S. and Iranian governments. The Iranian gov already lacks credibility in the west, but if the U.S. gov keeps this up — their trust will disappear. 🤷‍♂️

EU Commission President, von der Leyen: While in 1990, one third of Europe's electricity came from nuclear, today it's only close to 15%. This reduction in the share of nuclear was a choice. And in hindsight, it was a strategic mistake for Europe to turn its back on a reliable, affordable source of low-emission power.

@Phantom_3D @_listensilent_ @vonderleyen You need more people to operate 100 small nuclear than 1 big one. The maintenance will be about the same, but you multiply it 100 times. More people More training More risks of error. I stand by my view: it's a stupid way to say "I was right about large nuclear power plants'.

Ursula von der Leyen: “Ladies and gentlemen, obviously the nuclear race is on.” She said Europe has everything it needs to become a leader in this race, noting that the European nuclear sector employs around 500,000 highly skilled workers — more than in the United States and China. Von der Leyen also stressed the need for innovation and modular reactors so that Europe can become a global hub for next-generation nuclear energy.

@RoseFlamand3 @_listensilent_ @vonderleyen I would assume it takes longer time to build a large plant rather than a small one. I am not sure what kind of size difference we are talking about here. But maybe some plants that are transportable with semi's etc. Too many unknowns to argue for or against at this point :P

@Phantom_3D @_listensilent_ @vonderleyen As quick as possible ? 1. We know today how to build large nuclear plants. 2. We know today what type of training is needed for technicians inside those plants. 3. we have today the network to support large nuclear plants 4. We need today the electricity

@Phantom_3D @vonderleyen Build time will be SHORTER because we already know how to do this. All new technology will end up with problems to overcome. Just look at the electrification of vehicles. It came to an abrupt stop.

@Phantom_3D @_listensilent_ @vonderleyen Come on ! That's just a way to admit their energy policy was wrong without admiting it ! The message is "we need more new smaller nuclear plants": will that be safer ? 🤔 That's just more risky than having one single plant: more maintenance, more technicians, no added value.

@Phantom_3D @vonderleyen This thing with "small reactors" are just a sales argument to make it sound "less dangerous". All Power plants benefits from being large. The only disadvantage is that you in war can more easily get cut off, like now in Zaporizhzhia.

@_listensilent_ @vonderleyen I am guessing smaller nuclear sites can be more distributed and even safer should a mishap occur. Also, making something smaller is not neccecary the same as reinventing it. I just wsh we never shut down what we had in the first place. We were clearly played on many levels.
