Well, I took a pause, had some twins, and now I’m ready to talk. With so much happening at the intersection of politics and health, the talk is well overdue. Join me on @rolandsmartin’s @BlkStarNetwork. #SecondOpinionWithDrEbonyHilton

Dr. James E. Shepard (1875-1947) was a Shaw University-trained pharmacist, educator, and founder of the school that would become North Carolina Central University. #BlackHistoryMonth #NCCU

Despicable. As families grieve, Trump should be leading, not lying. We put safety first, drove down close calls, grew Air Traffic Control, and had zero commercial airline crash fatalities out of millions of flights on our watch.
President Trump now oversees the military and the FAA. One of his first acts was to fire and suspend some of the key personnel who helped keep our skies safe. Time for the President to show actual leadership and explain what he will do to prevent this from happening again.

The Tuskegee Airmen were the first Black military aviators in the United States who fought in World War II & helped pave the way for desegregation of the military. What they did for this entire NATION, can never and will NEVER be erased. #Tuskegee #BlackHistoryIsAmericanHistory

My HS principal was a Tuskegee airman, an excellent educator that took involved interest in his students education. We never knew his background until the city had a surprise ceremony for him. Rest in power QP Smith. He won't be forgotten. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quentin_P…

Harry Alford@HarryAlford3
My grandfather was one of the original five Tuskegee airmen, Charles DeBow, and my youngest son is named after his co-pilot. They fought for equal rights and for all of America in WWII when many worked to undermine their efforts. To erase their legacy is beyond unconscionable.

The Tuskegee Airmen were far more than a diversity and inclusion initiative; they were a testament to excellence and determination in the face of systemic racism. These men were not included in the U.S. military as a gesture of equity—they had to fight for the opportunity to prove themselves as some of the most highly qualified and skilled pilots in history. Under the oppressive Jim Crow laws, they underwent rigorous training at Tuskegee Army Air Field, earning their wings not because they were given a seat at the table but because they demanded it through merit and perseverance. Their service was not about representation for its own sake but about breaking barriers through undeniable skill and performance. These brave men changed the trajectory of our nation not by fulfilling quotas, but by excelling in their missions and demonstrating their value on and off the battlefield. @BlackNoChaser @BeBlackNoChaser

Charles McGee died in 2022 at the age of 102.
He had been the last living member of the Tuskegee Airmen.
Charles McGee was a career officer in the Air Force for 30+ years.
He flew 409 missions, one of the highest combat totals and longest active-duty careers by any Air Force fighter pilot. The Air Force has stopped teaching about the Tuskegee Airmen, despite their distinguished military careers, contributions, and sacrifices.
This is disrespectful to the memory of the Tuskegee Airmen, their family, and future Air Force pilots.
Hey, it’s what President Felonious wanted. The whitewashing of Black History.
Blacks for Trump, you voted for this racist.
Nelly, you asked how is he a White Supremacist.
What does he have to do next to make idiots believe he’s racist? Have a noose outside the White House.
Public lynchings?
