Last day in Geneva @ChurchillTrust: online meeting with @k_srensen "health literacy is like a kitchen sink- we all need to get in and help" & face to face with nicole valentine from SDoH & HiAP @WHO we discussed the need to consider a shift to a health and wellbeing economy.

My @ChurchillTrust journey ends soon. My international peers answered my question is health literacy: heath/education/community issue. Many thanked me for starting this conversation in their country. Upon my return we need to talk about this for the sake of Australia's children.

Thanks to Rasmus Baagland & Tue Kristensen from the Health Directorate in Copenhagen. Great to hear @SSTSundhed started their health literacy journey 4 years ago, with focus on health using "8 paths to a health literacy organisation". Great that workplaces & kindergartens next.

A @ChurchillTrust highlight, my visit to UN City (23/6/23) to meet with @WHO_Europe to discuss importance of health literacy for children & adolescents (Anastasia Koylyu, Siff Nielsen & Stef Harsch-Oria). Much agreement & commitment to continue focus together.Pinching myself!

These face2face meetings with my fellow health literacy experts only made possible by my wonderful Churchill Fellowship. I cherished our time together & look forward to many more discussions & shared memories in the future at international conferences, Copenhagen & Tasmania!
