@stephHoussou @TweetsbyCoachP That may be true but you have to do your homework on the coach and program. Meet the players and ask lots of question. Watch practices and film to see what the style is like. Ask where the coach sees you and how you fit into the program. Lots to analyze.

@RyStar7_ Word of advice from a parents who just finished this process, offers go away as spots fill. If she has a top choice, I would commit sooner rather than later.

P doesn’t talk about her recruiting (she lets me do it for her) but last night she realized that she’s down to a handful of places she sees herself at, where she fits what the staff wants & the staff can’t wait to coach her. Not sure when she’ll decide but she’s making progress!

@gregberge This!!! If you have ever spent money for an entire AAU season and stuck listening to a parent complain about everything, you will understand this post. I just want to watch my kids to what they love, not listen to negativity.

Parents who sit alone aren’t avoiding people. They are avoiding negativity, drama, and complaining. They just want to watch their kid play… without the noise.
