@Spamfromk ... I heard a THEORY that "dragons" were just the tail end of the dino's going extinct. A dragon that can fly? With scales and big huge wings? Sounds like a pterodactyl and similar to me. Especially since the only type of animal thats related to dinos today are birds

@Spamfromk I heard that well unicorn just means "one horned" or something like that and was THEORIZED that it was actually- in the bible at least- was about a common place type of bull or rhino in the middle east now extinct and those who translated to english had no clue. Also...

@Frenchbull6zaf @yana_aff_ Native Asian languages in general, and in mt experience especially Vietnamese is also very difficult to understand when the accent is very thick. I once knew someone who was like extra new to english and he tried so hard. Sometimes you could tell he practiced some phrases too

@yana_aff_ Hearing a Russian person speaking, English is so fun are usually so more serious sounding and sarcastic. It's quite lovely. It's easy to understand pretty much anyone who speaks English with an accent except it's much more difficult to understand native Chinese speakers

@yana_aff_ Are you KIDDING?! A Russian accent in English is soooo rich (and depending on the person, it could even be attractive). Depending on the accent (so not just Russian, but accents in general) can have different affects. Some people who are genuinely very new, 1/2

It's weird being an atheist that's heavily inspired by Christian/Catholic characters I will really get atheists telling me I shouldn't admire them or learn anything from them just because they don't like religion. Really goes to show even people in the group that tries to pride themselves on open-mindedness can be equally closed minded. I may not be a fan of religion but that doesn't mean there aren't a lot of lessons I can learn from it especially through fiction. I won't let my personal feelings get in the way of an opportunity to grow/understand others.
