one trade almost wiped you and the takeaway was "sit out the weekend" instead of checking what rule you broke that let a single trade nearly carry you go village. position size too big? no stop loss? held through news? something in the execution failed for one trade to do that much damage. "start again this week" without knowing exactly which rule broke last week is how the same trade happens again in april

@wisingman What's this obsession and hyper focus on cold approach bro...did you get burnt harshly before? Every girl I've had something serious with was thru cold approach. If you can channel confidence and low investment initially(and look good enough) you will have 60-80% success .

Farming! I have 20 hectares of land in Ijaye, Oyo state. I bought before traveling out of Nigeria, so when I can back to the country in 2021 I decided to put the land into use to make money so I called my farmer friend and we started planning! First I had to go to the head of town to inform him that I am back to use my land and that everyone that are currently farming on it are given the till the next harvest to stop farming on the land! Once he announced, I started getting calls from people pleasing they don’t have where to farm if they leave my land that they are willing to pay for lease but I had to explain to them that I’m going into farming myself too and I need the land in addition to other ones in other areas. I didn’t know that was my undoing! To keep the long story short, after that season, I had to step in to start work on the land and prevent the stubborn ones that still wanted to plant for new season. After claiming my whole 20 hectares I resurveyed and mapped it out and we started work. I brought in tractor and all, we did soil tests and followed every steps thoroughly. three weeks after planting, everywhere was green and flourishing and I was happy and already calculating how to expand to other places I have big lands. Only for me to wake up to a call few days later that everything on my farm have turned yellow and brown; they are all dead! Some of the youths of the area then told me later that I’m not the first to experience that in that area cos it also happened to a few people that have chased free land users from farming on their land because they wanted to start farming on it too. Make I no talk the long drama wey follow sha! I sha lost all money invested because someone among those using my land for free wasn’t happy I’m back to use my thing.

Last year was the worst trading year of my life. From March to September, I made $5.3k, but in one brutal month, September, I lost everything. It broke me. I felt stupid. I nearly lost my mind. I shut everyone out. Stopped showing up to school. Pulled away from everyone.

If you open the GbpUsd chart, I believe you'd better understand what my bro wrote in the quoted post. One of these days I'd write how the rich and the poor view risk to reward, and how you can apply it to your trading. Targets broken into bits put you on the favourable side of a probability-based environment. Selah!

“Nobody ever went broke taking profits.” It’s deeper than it sounds on the surface. My dear friend, that setup that looks so promising with 1:100 R is not your responsibility to catch every move. A few clean 1:3R trades here and there are more than enough to keep you rich and your confidence intact. Don’t stress over unrealistic gains. Sustainability is the goal in trading.

Guy this brought back so many memories. FUTA POST-UTME 2021, I and my guys had travelled all the way from Lagos to Akure for the exam, we arrived a week earlier so we can prepare well for the exam and attend tutorials around that South gate side, the Egbon we were staying with was in 200level at that time. One particular morning, we had agreed to make beans so we already picked the beans the previous night so the cooking can start early the next morning. Luckily, nepa brought light when we were about to start and this egbon turned off the gas, we kept wondering why he didn't put the beans on fire again. 30 minutes later, we perceived the aroma of boiling beans. We kept wondering how it was possible that the beans was cooking and the gas was in the room with us with nothing on it until one of us step out to the passage to discover that someone was boiling beans in a bucket with boiling ring. You needed to see suprise on our faces, we kept asking "shey he go sweet?". After a while he told us the beans was ready. Long story short, the bean was sweet and we enjoyed it but nothing beats the beans that FUTA later served us after the post-utme exam. That one was hot and Unforgettable.
