Wishing @carlosalcaraz a speedy recovery Tennis needs him. I personally have no real interest in watching @atptour without him in the mix It wasn't this way during the Big 3 era. If one of them was hurt I was still interested in watching a major final

I borrowed 50k from Dad and 50k from Mum to buy a laptop that costs 97k. After the purchase, I had 3k left. I returned 1k to Dad and 1k to Mum, and I reserved 1k for myself. I now owe Dad 49k and Mum 49k also. 49k + 49k = 98k plus 1k I reserved for myself, which is 99k. So where did 1k go..?

@rezoundous The only thing that changed is iteration speed Everything else is the same - the people that understand how to solve real problems combined with how to distribute their product will continue to win

I have so much gratitude to people who wrote extremely complex software character-by-character. It already feels difficult to remember how much effort it really took. Thank you for getting us to this point.

Very soon there are going to be more AI agents than humans making transactions. They can’t open a bank account, but they can own a crypto wallet. Think about it.

Hey all, We want to issue a formal apology on a recent comms error. We lowered rake (again) but have been so busy with product announcements we actually forgot to announce it We realize this is probably upsetting to the "more rake is better" crowd Thanks for understanding

@ThePokerBoss Poker rewards the best decisions not necessarily the best hand. That's what makes the game interesting Kill your own hand, forfeit your portion of the pot "Paying attention" is a part of the game and rewarded (or punished) accordingly

Alright Poker, we need to talk. Winning a pot on a technicality like this should never feel right. Yes, it is every player’s responsibility to protect their hand and their action. I have ruled on this exact spot more times than I can count. But in the example, at showdown both players have a Queen high flush on the board before anyone even tables their cards. To win the whole pot, a player should have to show something better than that. The QQ did not. Awarding the full pot when his best five cards are the board, identical to his opponent, is illogical. Even the announcer says “flips over a set of Queens,” which we know is not accurate. This spot has tripped up even the most seasoned pro. I am not suggesting we allow players to muck freely in these situations. The correct result should be a split pot. Both players are playing the board with a Queen high flush. Issue a warning for failing to properly table the hand. If the behavior repeats, escalate to a penalty. Poker should reward the best hand, not technicalities.

Interesting spot here. Huge ft. Experienced player mucks his hand not realizing it’s a chop. No one says anything before it hits the muck, then players try to chime in & I say it’s out of line for anyone to say anything. @kwansfull disagrees with me, what say you? @SavagePoker

@junglemandan There's no shortcut. The person has to want to fix the problem - which requires them to admit they have a problem (hardest step) and then have a deep desire and commitment to fix it. They have to seek help and commit. You cannot do this for them.
