@AndyRFCCharman @B3rt1e @RFCLatest We don’t do that; there is no continuity from Selles to Hunt to Richardson. Very different people with different managerial philosophies. Someone higher up, a DOF, needs to be devising this and we need to be consistent with our appointments.

If you look at the successful clubs of our size several are in the PL because the manager is not the most important person on the football side of things. The philosophy comes from higher up and managers are hired and fired in to match that philosophy

🙏 Crucial that #ReadingFC hit the ground running with transfers this year and then go on to have a strong positive pre-season. Last year we were slow to get bodies in and the pre-season was an absolute disaster. Get it right.

@mitchrfc1 I doubt he’s furious but he’s got to be disappointed. The new owners have done a lot of good but have made a couple of big errors; appointing a manager who imposes a regressive style and One Royal - which isn’t going to attract new or boost loyalty in existing fans. #readingfc

@PipSharmy You sum up how I feel about it perfectly. I haven’t renewed yet and am in 2 minds about. If it was about the football then STs at #readingfc are terrible VFM. If I renew it will be about the football friends that sit around me. People that I only know because of it.

Could use some advice. Currently unsure about whether to renew my ST at #ReadingFC. Just not feeling it with how the club is right now. Team unlikeable last season, football is dire. Manager is uninspiring and just not what I expected from ownership. …but I’ve worked hard over the years, to get the points I have etc. don’t want to throw it away!

@penguinjack2005 I’ve no clue about this but one thing I am sure of is that whether it’s a winning season or a losing one it will not be great to watch whilst Richardson is the manager.

@PictonPedro The two kits they did for the 150th anniversary were great and the purple turtle kit is a fugly classic. Everything else is meh at best. All three last season befitted the team wearing them… terrible! Sizes were all over the place as well. Time to move on.
