Shrine Bowl Player Spotlight: Teryn Jackson, a 5’11”, 175-pound wide receiver from Bishop Miege, will take the field for the East Side All-Stars in the 2025 Shrine Bowl on Saturday wearing #11. Jackson was a standout performer his senior year, hauling in 74 receptions for 1,337 yards and 13 touchdowns while leading the Stags to a 4A state runner up finish. As a two-time SIK First Team All-State selection, Jackson had a huge performance in the title game, where he delivered a career-best 225 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns on 7 catches. “Excited for a big week ahead at the Shrine Bowl,” Jackson said. “It’s an incredible opportunity to showcase talent, compete, and represent something bigger than ourselves.” Jackson will continue his football career at Butler Community College this fall. #sportsinkansas  Photo: Kenny Daniel
