@PhilMealey Mithering 🙄 With pubs disappearing rapidly it takes me back to going into my dad’s local pub the Empress on Cheetham Hill Rd I can see the lot sat in the vault. It doesn’t just make me laugh it’s a comforting reminder of my dad in his element

Sorry for mithering with another article about Early Doors, but there seem to be quite a lot of them. Thanks to the person from ‘British Comedy Classics’ that wrote this (sorry, no name). Anyway, I like this one, it’s worth a read, whether you’re an Early Doors fan or not…

@PhilMealey Introduced my wife to Early Doors in past couple of weeks. Somehow she missed it first time round despite knowing Craig Cash from his KFM days and tonight a few of us lamented how fewer genuine working class shows are commissioned but the love for ED was universal
