@PhilMellen @AvantiWestCoast @LNRailway @SouthernRailUK You can travel from London St Pancras to Sheffield with East Midlands Railway, the travel with TransPennine Express to Stockport, then from Stockport to Crewe with Avanti West Coast again.

@AvantiWestCoast Update. On the move north, slowed again by a ‘ bridge strike’ at Bletchley. ETA at Crewe 23.17, nearly 9 hours after we originally left London. A kind of blitz spirit has emerged.

Train manager, were exemplary. However , all that good work is now being undone as we have sat at Euston for nearly an hour with no communication as to why. Our journey is currently nearing 7 hours @AvantiWestCoast
