@LUFCDave_ It may well be but having seen lots of both in South America, the size of this suggested Greater? (I thought) It was the size of a Greenshank and certainly way bigger than the Baird's Sandpiper? But having checked a fieldguide, you're right I think?

Update on 'my' Black Skimmer sighting. Contacted by ebird who said the bird was first seen on Jan 29th and again on Feb 2nd. The 29th is going through the motions of acceptance and will be the most southern inland record in Argentina.
