English equivalent would be for the League Cup draw to be made now for next season. It would start at the quarter finals with the following invited teams. Nobody else plays:
Arsenal v Coventry
City v Ipswich
Utd v Bournemouth
Villa v Liverpool

When you think football administrators have reached their nadir, someone outguns the stupidest. Next year's 🇵🇹 League Cup will start at the QF stage; Draw has already been made 🥳 Big 4 all at home 😇 Holders Guimarães not invited 🧐 Absolutely out of their minds 💀 Criteria?

Arsenal fan mocking 6 time league 1 time champions league winner
I laughed at Wembley the other week the PA announced they were bringing out a legend from each side
We brought out Dennis Tueart
Arsenal brought out Jérémie Aliadière
🥤𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬@_Afcbanks
Their legends are Bernardo Silva 😭😭😭

@mancityhardcore @ErlingHaaland Should have asked k him where Citeh was before 2010.

@JanAageFjortoft At this rate, it could genuinely feel like a home game.

@RealTolmie @WeareManC1ty At the risk of sounding like Klopp, the pitch didn’t help. They left the grass long and slow and we struggled to get the pace of our passes right. Added to the fact that we didn’t pack our longer studs like Spurs on Tuesday.
English

@WeareManC1ty It's also pretty clear that we are now poor in possession and retaining it under pressure. We just aren't technically good enough to let the ball do the work like we used to. Especially so, when we don't have people to win it back mate.
English

@honigstein @goatersmotors Also forgot that Haaland didn’t touch the ball.
English

@AmosMurphy_ I think he’s implying that the Emirates FA Cup draw is being fixed in favour of Etihad sponsored Manchester City. 🤷♂️
English

@SkyFootball Suprised he didn’t go down holding his head like he did against Bristol city 👀

@theskybluetimes The ground duels surprises me. Hardly won any in the last 2 games.
English

Do any of these stats change your mind or surprise you?
Only Bournemouth (6) has scored more PL goals this season than Manchester City (5) from fast breaks.
No team has completed more buildups (80) or scored more buildup goals (7) than Manchester City. The nearest teams, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Burnley, have all scored two.
Manchester City have had 21 high turnovers ending in a shot this season in the Premier League. Only Liverpool (23) and Chelsea (23) have more.
Aston Villa, Brighton, Spurs, and Manchester City are the only Premier League teams yet to concede from a fast break this season.
Manchester City are the only PL Team this season to win over 50% of ground duels and more than 56% of aerial duels.

@premierleague Haaland's streak is incredible, but how many of those were against top-tier, Champions League-caliber defenses? Seems like a lot of padding against weaker sides. #TheRealTest

@bifana_bifana @StePurpleHeart Probably go ahead at £3000 and think everyone will be grateful.
English

@StePurpleHeart Yeah, what I meant was they (clubs) will always hide behind "hypothetical" to see how strong the kickback is, before announcing they're going ahead and doing it, despite everything. Not sure you can squeeze an empty lemon and get anything out of it but pips.
English

Just looked at the headline, not bothered with the story (which could be an error), but I don’t know a single one of my red mates that would pay that on top of season ticket costs. Most are thinking of jacking it as it is. What the fuck are these clubs thinking?

🚨Manchester United are considering introducing a Personal Seat Licence system at their new stadium 🔴Fans would be charged £4,000 - with season ticket cost on top ⚫️Club would be first in PL 🔴Officials say move 'hypothetical' & part of consultation dailymail.co.uk/sport/football…

#ManCity are prioritising new contracts for Ruben Dias and Rico Lewis and discussions with their representatives are set to open soon.
