@basicwitgirl Still remember the wtf moment when playing it through for the first time. Never saw it in a million years and had been playing light side all the way. It made me play the rest of the game dark which made it even more entertaining

After finally watching #Transformers The Movie. I understand why kids were upset after seeing it. It's the freaking Red Wedding for 10 yr olds. After the first 30 minutes you didn't want to see your favorite character on screen for fear they would die next. Good lord.

@Rory_Talks_Ball So what's your solution for this? The daylight rule is not perfect but is better then current situation. If defenders sit back out creates other space elsewhere. Current situation clearly good goals being chalked of for the below rah will is way worse.

@RealEmirHan A movie called ‘I Am Legend’ has to change its ending because audiences are too stupid to realize the title hints at the ending of the film. He is the legend of an unevolved human amongst a city of newly evolved humans.

Will Smith says they didn’t use ‘I Am Legend’ alternate ending because test audience literally booed. “They were like we didn’t watch the whole movie to find out he’s the monster. They feel cheated.” “6 weeks before the movie comes out we had to reshoot.”

@A_Sober_Drunk @RealEmirHan The book was written in 1954 so it’s not like he’s playing to a trope. And it’s a sociological point about the majority defining what society is. In general the whole film is a poor reflection, I wish they’d called it the Omega Man again or something as it missed the point

@RealEmirHan I hated the directors cut ending. The theatrical ending was better for the audience. This whole thing where the hero is actually the villain has been cliched to death.

@akascarletVT I would say retail is fairly easy, as others have said it’s been adjusted to make it a pretty quick and easy path to max level as grinding there is what most people play for. If you enjoy levelling more than try classic as it has far more jeopardy

Okay my first honest thoughts on my first ~4 hours of playing! I feel like I’m still so early on it the game that it’s not quite reeled me in at the moment and if I wanted to play an MMO, it wouldn’t be this one…BUT I’ve barely gotten into the game yet so I know this will likely change and I’m going to play a lot more to give a more fair opinion! I will say I was starting to get a little bored once I finished the tutorial area and got to the little dragon island place, but once again, it’s so early in the game that I know it won’t be like that as I progress! Also it feels REALLY easy? Even for the beginning area of the game? Not a problem, just an observation. I want that little tree pet in the store. We will continue on later today!

@Darkmechx Yeah it was new and was a genuine World. Having to complete zones to get good enough kit, having to actually learn dungeons as there was no map. I hate sounding elitist but the tone and difficulty really did make it something new and original. Felt like an RPG rather than an MMO

@PhilSwain6 100%. I ran out of room and didn't want to just keep adding tweets, but the world also felt bigger back then as a result. You had to run places, flights paths etc that just led to a more time intensive "in game" loop, and coupled with that new experience of an MMO boom.

Just to add on this, as I think it gets missed, Vanilla was a new experience. I didn't come from EQ, so WoW was my first experience in an MMORPG (like many), there wasn't any guidance, you built specs, played your rotation like a potato, because you didn't know any better

Time. We lost time. People got older. People got married. People got jobs. People had kids. Now Bills have to be paid, rent, house payment, car payment, kids medicine. We lost time. This is why in the article they want to somehow bring back large areas of exploration in a dungeon format in Labyrinths. Blizzard had to grow as we grew. And had to realize that we don't have time for a 3 hour 13 boss dungeon. I think Mega Dungeons recently have always given me the feel of the old school dungeons with 8+ bosses and probably hour in length. Decent read though. pcgamer.com/games/world-of…
