We heartily congratulate Philip and the team at @MetOpera for their recent Grammy win in the category of Best Opera Recording for Akhnaten! This incredible work is an important part of the Glass canon, and we are pleased to share an excerpt from Akhnaten (Funeral).

@philipglass's three-part chamber opera The Photographer turns 40 this year. This complex and irreverent piece was based on the life of 19th-century English photographer Eadweard Muybridge, and was premiered at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam in 1982.
