Ambulance services across the country are facing one of their busiest nights of the year, as the country prepares to welcome 2026. A 999 call will be received every 10 seconds between 1 and 2am in London, where extra staff will be on shift to cope with 2,000 additional calls overnight. Meanwhile, the government says an extra 500 ambulances, costing more than £75 million, are being rolled out across England. Ministers say they will strengthen the frontline response to health emergencies this winter. @LouisaJamesITV reports.
