@Promithean11 How about incomplete sentences like: "could you ple-", then you know something is about to happen because the character didn't finish the sentence?! So many surprising and unexpected moments ruined because of that. AoT Episode 5 final scene be like that for most subs

Fui assistir Homem-Aranha 2 no hbo max e não rolou. Além do aspecto de tela estar completamente errado, o filme tem cortes estranhos, como se tivesse editado para a TV. Não aguentei, tirei e fui direto pro meu disco em blu-ray. A experiência é simplesmente outra.

@SrLinguicaVIVE Ver esse tipo de atitude chegar nas grandes empresas também, acaba com minhas esperanças. Sempre me dói quando vou jogar um jogo em português, as vezes até mesmo em jogos traduzidos para o inglês, você lê os diálogos, descrições de itens e aquilo claramente foi feito por IA.

Um tradutor de tcheco para inglês, do game Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 (Warhorse Studios), foi demitido e substituído por IA para "economizar recursos".

@SrLinguicaVIVE As nuances que existem, mesmo em jogos de pequeno porte: piadas, contextos e gírias bem específicas. A quantidade de frases que já traduzi que seriam erradas se fosse traduzidas no literal é simplesmente abismal. IA não analisa intenção no mesmo nível que uma pessoa.

@SrLinguicaVIVE É muito triste ver uma indústria que sempre enfrentou dificuldades de se estabelecer, se acabar ainda mais. Eu já trabalhei como tradutor de um jogo de terror e o que mais ando vendo ultimamente, são devs independentes e estúdios de pequeno e médio porte utilizando IA na tradução
