We have alternate models of care that can prevent these waiting lists if funding enabled them. Like non operative pathways for #OA is a start and can improve outcomes. That is true health reform! @apaphysio @DrChrisBarton

Two simple solutions put forward by @apaphysio to streamline the patient journey in primary care can be achieved now, by allowing physios to directly refer patients to orthopaedic surgeons within their scope of practice and expand medical imaging rights to physios.
