@BartrumSophie @GeriSoc So true! Early intervention & prevention at basic levels sadly lacking in so many areas of health & social care. We need more staff & right skill mix to help maintain independence & promote ongoing rehab daily, not do things to people to save time or overly restrict mobility.

Patients with a Clinical Frailty Scale score of 6 are likely to experience functional decline if admitted to hospital. Important to prevent frailty-associated problems. Get specialist input and CGA #BGSconf
