Today is the anniversary of the Aberfan colliery disaster in 1966 - in which a spoil tip collapsed on a South Wales village, engulfing the local school and killing 116 children and 28 adults. As ever, I wondered if there was any charity linkage to the story?

I realise I haven't done much with this account of late, but since it's Friday afternoon why don't we play a little game of "Who Would You Cast If You Were Making Biopics of Famous Historical Philanthropists?" I'll start.
