Swimming is such a lifeline for me. Recently I’ve been frustrated at how my body looks. But then I’ll go swim 2.5 miles and think who the fuck cares what if it doesn’t look perfect when it can do this on a whim.

So jealous because here in Philly it's been 2 years since a Doctor was killed in one of the busiest bike lanes in the city and our Mayor Cherelle Parker has yet to even change a single thing about those streets.

I joined NY’s Cutest on the Bergen Bike Bus that they ride to school every Wednesday, rain or shine. We’re adding bike boulevards and more pedestrian space on Bergen and Dean Street, from Court Street to East New York Ave. It was a wonderful kind of day.

The older I get, the more certain lines of dialogue I remember ring even louder to me. Things said in game, all of a sudden, are much more practical to the day to day rather than in a video game. In this case, life going on can be a look of perseverance rather than sadness 🧵
