New "Spring" Schedules for Bus and Metro begin Sunday, February 22 and Monday, February 23. The updated schedules include the following changes: Time adjustments on Routes 201, 204, and 206 to maintain AM train connections. Adjustments made to Route 40 to address overcrowding and lateness. Realigned Route K to operate eastbound on Coulter St between Fox St & Wayne Av. Added more articulated buses on Route 51 during AM/PM peaks to address overcrowding. Added three Sunday midday round trips to Route 66 to improve service to every 15 minutes. Added one AM peak trip to Route 82 to address overcrowding. Added one PM peak trip to Route 110 to address school dismissal overcrowding. Added one PM peak trip to Route 475 to address overcrowding. Today, I was proud to join the House Liquor Control Committee for a hearing on my bill to address concerns surrounding stop-and-go establishments. As a member of the stop-and-go task force in 2024, my bill would establish the recommendations we made to remedy this issue.

Honored that @GovernorShapiro mentioned my bill HB 1646 during his budget address today. This legislation will help barbers by cutting red tape—allowing the licensing board to act with a simple majority so licenses, renewals, and approvals happen faster and barbers can get to work without unnecessary delays. Getting this bill to his desk is critical.
