Overwhelmed, excited, anxious, scared. I've been feeling so many emotions since I was given the news - never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd get to be a NASA Hubble Fellow 🤯 I love globular clusters so much and I'm incredibly grateful that I get to study them ✨
Fantastic talk by PhD student @MadellanicCloud about using Mg to trace accretion in the Milky Way. I’m loving her enthusiasm and clear & dynamic presentation, as well the research “Chemistry separated accreted stars from MW stars”. Chemistry is important in galaxies! #asaasm2023
Congrats to *Dr* @_jessthorne for officially passing her PhD! Jess worked on DEVILS & GAMA data, focusing on uncovering the properties of galaxies using multi-wavelength data. Two big highlights were uncovering new AGN populations, and combining optical & radio data in a new way.
