$1.8M Stolen From Armored Truck In Philadelphia, Getaway Vehicle Recovered, Police Say Two armed men stole $1.8 million from a Brinks armored truck in Philadelphia’s Tacony section on Tuesday morning, police sources told Action News. The robbery occurred around 9:45 a.m. in the 7200 block of Torresdale Avenue, where the suspects allegedly used assault rifles during the heist.
