Why does he need to go to Switzerland to kill himself? Weird how if you tell him to just shoot/hang himself that's apparently wrong, but if you tell him to fly all the way to Europe and be put down like a dog it's progressive and ok. (I really don't want either to be clear)

@scrowder I think Steven’s point is valid (though over the top), but at the same time Gerald correctly points out the casting decisions maybe motivated by something beyond the surface. Within the story Page’s character exemplifies the faults her own ideology.

You don't cast a trans woman in a male role, someone who looks like a ventriloquist's dummy, and then turn around and say "Oh, I just thought it was a normal guy." It's an agreed upon lie, and giving any quarter to the people pushing that lie only helps them convince even more people that maybe there's no transagenda at all.
