Panto 52 (the penultimate of the season), and what better place than @BirminghamHippo for the spectacular Robin Hood. It was made more fun as not only was 19877 with me but also Loretta Andrews. Luckily, the train delay to Birmingham was only 45 mins, we still had time for meal!

Panto 20 in charming Stafford for Sleeping Beauty at the Gatehouse. A dame with 21 costume changes! A capacity house was rewarded with a great night out. Loved the display of panto outfits.

Thora Hird's performance in Alan Bennett's Talking Heads is always singled out, and quite right too. But Patricia Routledge's performance as Irene Ruddock in A Lady of Letters breaks your heart. I've never forgotten this scene. Patricia was an incredible dramatic actress.
