Seems no one is talking about how wicked Abuja CEO and company owners are, only looking for who to use with little or no pay . This was a referral job ,so I was so confident before even stepping into the office . The man that referred me called me a day earlier said his boss needed a website and app developer . I drove there early the next morning , after trying about 10 outfits the night before just to appear formal. After showing the boss my previous works , experience and things I can do to help their company , he was impressed but he skipped the salary part and gave me a take home which was supposed to be their first project . I finished the take home in two days , sent it to him , he got more impressed , then said I should come to his office the next day , we got talking and he was bringing more suggestions to improve on the project, he mentioned I will be handling multiple roles as in house developer and social media, I didn’t argue , since I knew I was going to negotiate better on that later or so . So I brought up the salary talk since he kept skipping it , then he asked how much do I want ? I said 1M monthly, then he kept blabbing on how much that is and how I’m not even the only option, he said okay he will get back to me on that. This man ghosted me for days , then later sent a text , Can I please show in his office tomorrow, thought we now have an agreement or so , got to his office and he gave me more works to do , I left the office so late around after 5. He did this two more times or so until I brought up the salary thing up again because I’m yet to receive any official work offer letter . Then he broke the news that he cannot pay more than 150k monthly , I was broken and felt so embarrassed and used . I drove home that day questioning my worth, like I should drive from Kubwa to Wuse every day for 150k . He still kept on disturbing me so I gave him my last offer , I would rather work on %ge per project, he agreed but didn’t put in writing , so I insisted I want it written , then he slowly withdraw , he messaged me multiple times after that, later stopped after i repeatedly told him I was busy
