I'll elaborate on my belief here:
Every time the button question is run on here, the answer is always roughly 53-58% blue. However, I fully believe at least 10% of these people would change their answer if the hypothetical was turned real and their lives were genuinely at stake.
It's easy to morally masturbate on Twitter dot com, it's harder to be honest with yourself when you ask yourself what you would do in a live or die situation.
I would press blue in an ideal world, but I simply don't trust my fellow man anymore after the last five years. Trump winning the popular vote in 2024 fundamentally altered how much I trust people, the fact that 75 million people heard the accurate warnings and just didn't care or thought it was actually good. I would vote blue if it was ≥33%, I easily trust 1 in 3 people, I don't trust 1 in 2 people. That's the truth.
